FACT, FAKE OR FICTION?

Defining our reality in an age of unlimited media

SODA Level 4 students, working in teams from across our eight media programmes, were tasked with working together to conceptualise a media experience that explores the theme of “Fact, Fake or Fiction?”.

Fact or Fiction

Our work is focused on conspiracy theories, particularly looking into how they are spread, and how the spreading of fake news has now become easier due to increased propaganda and access to news through social media. We decided to make a card game, in which the players have to identify the real or fake versions of scenarios in order to avoid becoming brainwashed.
