FACT, FAKE OR FICTION?

Defining our reality in an age of unlimited media

 

   
SODA Level 4 students, working in teams from across our eight media programmes, were tasked with working together to conceptualise a media experience that explores the theme of “Fact, Fake or Fiction?”.

Game Premise:

You play as a photographer looking for work and find an ad in a newspaper that the paper is looking for a photographer that pays for every photo taken, Freelance work. Unbeknownst to the player, you have to go to some of the supposed "Most Haunted Locations" to try and capture images of the paranormal. Through the days you will experience dreams and unexplainable experiences. 

Synopsis 

After being fired from your previous job you see an ad in a newspaper looking for a paranormal photographer. You go in for an interview and get the job surprisingly quickly... 

It's now your job to take pictures of the ghosts in the most haunted parts of _____ city every day to be printed on the daily editions of PARANORMAL PRESS.
